If you are expecting someone to gift you those glasses, you are making a mistake.
You need to own them by yourself and look at the World through those rose-tinted glasses - A good news!
These glasses come for FREE!
Look back at the past or see the present through these glasses and Life seems less taxing and more loving.
Gratitude is nothing but looking at Life through these glasses.
Each phase of Life, every relationship seems beautiful when sprinkled with gratitude.
Whether:
Happy people own those glasses or
The one who own those glasses are Happy?
I think the latter is true as I never owned these glasses even when I was happy but now when I gifted myself these glasses, I see myself turn Happy.
You cannot let go of pain or bad experiences or adversities of Life.
But being grateful for small things in my Life helps forget the bad incidents or experiences quickly.
Daily gratitude helps us sail across the day happily.
So, are you going to own them?
It's very important to see the world through those glasses too, I agree. Thought not every single time, else the world only ever seems happy, and that's not good either. Nice thoughts.
ReplyDeleteEvery single time is not even practically possible for us. But yes we can still try to look at better side. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts.
DeleteActually I did once have a pair of rose tinted glasses and the world did look better to them. They were a fabulous pair made by Zeiss and sadly I've never been able to replace them. But on a more serious note, I agree with you. It is our attitude towards life that make us truly happy.

DeleteHi Upasana! Such a pretty pic and such beautiful thoughts. That´s the way it should be...I was just reading a quote yesterday that you don´t go to beautiful places, you make the place where you stay beautiful. Something on those lines...and yes, being grateful and happy and contended all helps in making where we stay a true beauty. Keep writing! Love and Cheers!

ReplyDeleteI don't know whether I unconsciously wear those rose tinted glasses and have a happy moment just to forget the bad one. Having said that, I think we should more often do it for a better sleep at the end of the day.
