Minimalist lifestyle isn't a new concept, certainly not in India. We had great people in the past who preached a simple lifestyle i.e. living with the bare minimum.
It was an
effortless thing in the past due to lack of resources but now it has become a practice to
learn, a habit to adapt.
Modern day minimalist lifestyle is about having freedom to do the things one enjoys the most, Freedom in terms of Time and Money.

It is voluntary simplicity where one despite having enough resources, choose
to buy less and consume less for sake of your real purpose in Life.
Minimalism has made a comeback- But now it has become a challenge to ever growing consumerist Indian society.
We were
taught by our forefathers to live a simple life. Yet we trade it off for stuff.
We were created to accomplish things greater rather than only consume.
If excessive
consumerism wouldn't be there, Minimalism would not have make a comeback.
I am glad
that I found this simple way of living while I am yet to enter my 30s.
